Admission Requirements

Admission and Registration Process

 

  1. Students must have completed their first year of law school in order to be able to be admitted to the Summer Program.

  2. Students must have a 2.00 GPA or higher.

 

All applicants must submit the following documents:

  • The PGCI form completed.

  • A certified copy of your transcript from your academic institution.

  • A letter from the dean, authorizing you to participate in the Summer Program with the UPR Law School in Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Furthermore, you must submit documentation indicating good academic standing (not necessary for the UPR students). 

  • Check or money order for $40 addressed to the University of Puerto Rico.

  • A 2 by 2 photography.

 

The deadline to submit all documentation has been extended until March 15th, 2016. 

 

Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered if there are spaces available. Enrollment is limited to 30 students. Applications are evaluated after all documentation is submitted and the decision of admission is informed no later than a week after receiving all necessary documents.  To register for courses you may click on the attached document.
