Admission Requirements

Admission and Registration Process

 

  1. Students must have completed their first year of law school in order to be able to be admitted to the Summer Program.

  2. Students must have a 2.00 GPA or higher.

 

All applicants must submit the following documents:

  • The PGCI form completed.

  • The Course Selection Sheet

  • A short letter of intent indicating why you are interested in participating in the program.

  • A  copy of your transcript from your academic institution.

  • A letter from the dean, authorizing you to participate in the Summer Program in Barcelona, Spain with the UPR Law School. Furthermore, you must submit documentation indicating good academic standing (not necessary for the UPR students). 

  • Money order for $40 addressed to the University of Puerto Rico.

  • A 2 by 2 photography.

 

The deadline to submit all documentation is March 15th, 2016. 

Applications submitted after the deadline will only by considered if there are spaces available. The amount of students admitted to the summer program is limited to 50 students. Applications are evaluated after all documentation is submitted and the decision of admission is informed no later than a week after receiving all necessary documents.  To register for courses you may click on the attached document.
