The UPR Summer Law Program at the University of Barcelona offers a unique opportunity to study law in Europe with an international and comparative approach, while enjoying the architectural and cultural richness of the city of Barcelona, home to the works of Spanish artists Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Antoni Gaudí, and many others. Barcelona is also in a privileged geographical position for those interested in traveling through Europe, with Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Venice only hours away.

The Barcelona Program is coordinated by the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and the University of Barcelona and is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA). It is open to law students from other ABA approved Law Schools. Courses are taught in Spanish or English depending on the language proficiency of the students and are supplemented by guest lecturers, group excursions to cultural places of interest and internships for selected students in distinguished law firms. The University of Puerto Rico School of Law is fully accredited by the ABA.
